This morning was nice. We were actually able to sleep in because Friday is their holiday, like our Sunday. It was so peaceful, which was totally strange for Cairo. We started to get ready to leave, shower, packed our bags, and headed out for something to eat. While walking around a guy came up to us, as usual asked where we were from and Bart said U.S. Oh, this guy was so happy he was one in San Fran, and needed to give us his business card for his hotel. We followed, even though we didn't want to. He ends up taking us into his perfume shop and starts rattling off all these different kinds. We really could not be bothered, we already have purchased some perfume and only had about an hour before we had to take a taxi to the airport. We told him thank you and that we wouldn't be purchasing anything from him. He smiled back with his three teeth and we were off again looking for food.

We decided to play it safe, we went to the take out restaurant for Fekfela.. We knew the food was good and the prices were marked, perfect for us. We decide to get Koshary, because the picture looked nice and it was really good! Just image rice and pasta mixed with lentil beans, chick peas, beef and spicy/tangy curry sauce. Went to a pastry shop for some cookies and back to the flea bag hotel.. We were there for about 10 minutes when the taxi arrived and we were off to the airport. Finally, we were able to leave Egypt, we have been looking forward to this day since we arrived. Keep in mind how we feel about Egypt and the places we visited are our opinions, not everyones. We did enjoy it, it was just rougher than we expected.

We arrived in Bahrain about 7PM, we couldn't belive the terminal. It was all decorated for Christmas, Santa, snowman, Christmas music. It really hit us that we wouldn't be home this year for the one holiday we never miss. We hope Christmas just blows by this year so we don't miss our family and friends as much. But it will be different to celebrate Christmas on the beach..

After a 3 hour lay over and updating the travelpod, we were on the plane again for Bangkok.
