The beaches here in Sao Luis are really not the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to. The water is a dark muddy color and in the horizon are a ton of large commercial vessels. But, Sao Luisī beaches have a very cool atmosphere. Every Sunday the beach fills up with people, music and sports. If you decide to go, sit down at one of the restaurants and eat crabs while drinking famous Brazilian beer. I certainly enjoyed it.
