So Berlin was pretty cool, I have to say. After our London flight was delayed for 3 hours, we arrived in Berlin just after midnight...just in time for the trains to stop running. After a crash course in German and trying to figure out how to read the signs for the trains, we took the last train into town that stopped about 5 stops short of the stop we needed. So we found ourselves wandering the dark streets of Berlin looking for a cab at about 1am, with our bags in tow. Finally after walking about 2 miles, we find a cab on a dark, desolate road, take a short ride and check into our hotel about 2am.

We spend the next day seeing all the cool Berlin stuff...The Berlin Wall, Check Point Charlie, and a museum that displayed all kinds of cool ways people crossed the wall back in the day.

We had heard of the bar called Q'Dorf, and supposedly it was the place to be. So we asked around, and tried to get directions. Apparently, if you ask for directions and the person doesn't know how to get there, they'll just give you some screwed up directions and send you on a wild goose chase instead of just admitting that they don't know. So after another 2 hour long foot tour of downtown berlin, we arrive in what can only be called the Biggest Bar on Earth. This club was like 7 bars in one. It was huge. You could wander from the club, to the sports bar, to the strip club all within the same complex. By around 6am, we realized they weren't going to close and we headed home after one last ABC shot...that's Absenthe, Jim Beam and Cointreau.

The city was very cool, with lots of old German feel mixed with a very modern vibe. German beer was great, and the schnitzel was delicious. we stayed in a pretty nice hostel and met some cool people. We are spending a lot of time travelling and walking around the cities. Its a great way to explore and I think I'm buring like 1 million calories a day.

We are in Prague now, which is an amazing place. I will update the blog on this place very soon and hopefully post some pictures soon of Germany.
