We left at 6:45am to head up to Amber Fort. On the way, we took pictures of the Pink Palace Fasad and a fort on the water. We rode the elephants up to the fort. That was so fun for us!
After having lunch, we went to an astrological observatory. There, they have compasses and dials from yesteryear. I'm sittin' at 27 degrees latitude and it sure feels like it...whew! Currently, it is 5:00pm and 41 degrees celsius (that's 105.8). Friday, the forecast is calling for 46 degrees celsius.
I was able to shop some today. Found some nice shiny chiffon fabric, a couple of trinkets, hand-painted silk, and handmade puppets.

(Heffalumps & Woozles are from Winnie the Pooh's dreams..the heffalumps resemble elephants and the woozles, weasles.) :-)
