Cruise Day 8 of Segment 1 - General - (Temperature 75F or 23C –scattered showers)

We attended the Ice Show last night. The skaters were totally awesome.  There were quite a few American skaters and only one Canadian.  Their costumes are amazing and they completed about 3 or 4 costume changes.

RCL is keeping up with the outside world and they had a show called Dancing with the Stripes.  It was a mock-up of the Dancing with the Stars.  They matched one professional dancer with an Officer.  They practised for 7 weeks or 49 hours.  There were six couples participating.  At the end of the show, the audience voted.  Interesting analysis of why they should not let men vote at these events!  I voted for the IT Officer, a female who could have been a professional dancer and was exceptionally good.  Ray voted for the Customer Service Officer.  He was good but not as great as the IT Officer but he did put on an excellent skit of pirates of the Caribbean.  I asked him why he voted for him and he said because we need to support Canada.  I think he is missing voting back home and made this a political event!  Or is he looking for someone to debate with Jen!

Wow, they really sound good. I didn't really care for many of the shows on Princess...this must be better.

Our weather here for the past 2 days has been rainy/cloudy/coolish, but still not winter. I see your temps and kind of sigh....loving your pictures and missed not seeing any, you're a good blogger friends!
