Cruise Day 9 of Segment 1 - (Temperature 75F or 23C – very windy)

We are now on our last sea day until we dock tomorrow. We really can't figure out why time is going so fast!  We still haven't had time to get bored and we are still tired.  With the time changing one hour almost every day, it takes a little getting used to.  I think we are about up to 8 hours difference in time now.  They have you change the time at noon each day.  It certainly makes the day shorter.

Housekeeping is doing an excellent job with our room.  Every night we return to our room to new little pets.  These room stewards are so talented. Remember they are watching your every move to get in your room to straighten up after you. Our friends from our last trip educated us on why you should always put your "Do not disturb" sign on your door.  Thanks T & K.

Our room steward is Jean.  He comes from Haiti.  He has a wife and two girls, aged 15 and 9 back home.  He was unfortunately affected by the earthquake in Haiti and lost most everything.  He has worked for RCL for five years.  His contract is for seven months at a time and he is not expected to go home until September.  They usually stay home for 10 weeks.  (I know I am not working anymore and shouldn’t be interviewing, but some things are so hard to change!)

Make sure to take a pic of the balcony...or do you have one?
