There was a group of about 25 today... listless; grumpy; hostile; belligerent males, mostly...(that's a 500% INCREASE over this-time-last-year). The City Of Arcata Theory being: IF WE GET THEM ON THEIR FEET, THEN THEY WILL MAKE BETTER CHOICES.
My Grandpa told me, "I know you feel sorry for [the raccoons]; but FEEDING THEM IS
ACTUALLY worse FOR THEM IN-THE-LONG-RUN..." they need to learn OTHER ways...
Adverse conditions are the MOTIVATION to get-up-in-the-morning and go-do-something.
Hasn't this been demonstrated clearly-enough YET? ... Come on... Look what's been created by allowing these Primitives to continue their Zero-Contribution lifestyle...
