Today was a miserable day – wind chill in the 30s, high wind and rain, and Cash and I were going for our draft dog title for the fifth time. Cash returned to us last night after four weeks away on the show circuit. He was a wild man, VERY glad to see us and bouncing all over the place. No surprise: we failed today, except I failed him by not taking my time. So we'll try again – maybe. Tomorrow Carolyn judges the draft test and I will assist as a ring steward. Hard to screw that up.
Despite the rain, we got to drive through the very pleasant Wisconsin village of Delafield, complete with very cute shops and restaurants and refurbished farm houses on huge lots. Very nice. But it’s still Wisconsin, which means you want to be somewhere else from December to April, maybe even May if our current experience is any guide.

Very sorry to hear Cash has not taken a victory lap yet, but I'm pulling for him. Sorry, too, you're experiencing Wisconsin's version of spring. In a few days, it will likely be sweltering. I hope you get to enjoy at least a few days of sparkling weather to see the potential of southeast Wisconsin. I especially recommend a side trip to downtown Milwaukee to see the magnificent art museum on the shores of Lake Michigan.
Sorry it didn't work out, guys. At least he's already a Champion!
