The best bit of visiting Nuwara Eliya was the drive up there, through the tea plantations, past beautiful waterfalls, up into the cooler climate. The town itself doesn't have that much to offer - a small park, some Sri Lankan's wearing beanies (quite amusing if you ask me), but not that much else.
 
The Hill Club is very pleasant, in a colonial fashion. Dress code for dinner including jackets for men (they have plenty to lend).
