Traveling down route 37 to Steward BC. I feel it is the best section of the trip. The mountains and hills are great and there are all kinds of glaciers every where you look.Also around the corner from Steward in Hyer Alaska which is part of the Tongass National Forest. Salmon creek is located in the forest which is famous for the bears when the salmon are running. The forest has a wooden raised section for viewing the bear while they fish, quite a sight. While we were there a young grizzle was eating away and having a good time.
