19 out of the crew sign up for halibut fishing so at 6:30am we were off to a spot 40 miles out to the halibut grounds for a day of great fishing. I teamed up with Ken, I would catch the fish and pull it up the first 50 feet and Ken would pull it the remaining 150 ft. We caught 11 around 30 pounds but could only keep 2 each, which is plenty of fish for the fish fry tomorrow at the camp site. Also we saw sea otters and a couple of whales on the way in, great sight.

Had a good old fashion fish fry with all the trimmings. Also went stream fishing for trout and did catch a trout.
