We Left for Calgary and on our way we stoped in at Fort Benson to see the Canadian Mounties and they put on a show for us, then off too Calgary. We arrived at the campground set up and then to a barbecue under the tent set up just for us. It tasted real good after a day on the road.
July 4
The bus picked us up at 7:15 am and we headed to Calgary for the open Parade which was 3 hrs long and it was great. After the parade we loaded up on the bus and headed for the Olympic Park for lunch and a tour. The olympic were held here in 1988. They still use the park for many attractions for practise. We rode the lift and checked out the ski jump and bobsled then back to camp by 6:00
July 5
We were off to Olympic Park down town for Pan cakes with the drivers of the chuck wagons and visited the Glenbow Museum and Devonian Gardens after lunch we headed for the rodeo
July 6
Back to the rodeo and horse show then to the clubhouse for dinner then to the chuck wagon races at night and a grandstand spectacular show. It rained and turned cold but the show and races went on and it was great got back to the campground about 1:00am

Hooray!
Yeeeee Hawwwww!!
I am so glad you got to the 'STAMPEDE' !! Looks and sounds like it was everything you hoped it to be! I would liked to have seen the Chuck Wagon Race! I also liked the look of all the ski jumps left by the Olympics....I think one could really get an idea of how high they really go with no snow or people etc.... very 'far out'!!!

Andy is getting jealous of all the BBQ's you guys are tasting!
