Hello
Its my (Bram) turn to post an entry - it had to happen some time, but Rachel is far better at keeping in touch. My entries will be characterised by being very short! Whilst Rachel is keeping touch with friends and family I will be teaching the good people of Cambodia to play cricket or maybe Ultimate Frisbee. Actually, I will probably be either eating or asleep...
We now have only one more day at work, and then fly out to Cambodia two weeks today (Thursday the 13th...not Friday the 13th). The next couple of weeks are going to be very busy, sorting out our house and packing our rucksacks. We've been planning this for so long now that it will be a bit of a relief to go.
We seem to be saying goodbye to at least 5 people every day now, which is all a bit sad. So it's probably good that we have loads to do still.
Only one more vaccination to go - I think we've now both had 10 jabs in our arms - so one more will make 11. We can also now ride motorbikes, after a 5 day course last week. After hating motorbikes with a passion after 2 days of the course I really got into it and can't wait for some serious off-road riding action across the wilds of Cambodia. Of course, Rachel enjoyed the bikes from the start and will probably want to buy a Harley as soon as we step off the plane!
Hopefully next time this blog gets updated it will be from Cambodia and a little bit more interesting.
