So we stayed two nights in the tree house ... amazing!  We cooked our meals, played epic frisbee on our private beach, napped in the hammocks  etc ... BUT, after the 2nd night in the mosquito netting and the VERY REAL sounds of the jungle srrounding us, we wondered what it might be like to stay at the 5 star resort we'd passed up the street (pretty sure the only one on this coast).  So we headed to the internet cafe, snagged a decent rate on Expedia, packed up and headed to Le Cameleon .... all I can say is "WOW".  From the cool drinks they handed us at check in, to the amazing rooms (all white, but they change the color scheme everyday ... when we checked in our room was black and red, today it's yellow and green ... they even change the pictures on the wall!  And the lights in the room fade in and out, every color of the rainbow. We feel very comfortable here!

We headed into town for dinner ... I picked a place that had live music on a balcony on the beach.  They had a big tank of lobsters, so why not?   After a fantastic meal and many guerro's (local liqour) later we grabbed some coconut flan for the room and headed back to the room.  There were probably the sounds of monkeys again, but they were drowned out by the AC and the flat screen TV .... roughing it is harder than it sounds!

This morning we woke up and headed to the zip lining we signed up for yesterday.  Us and about 5 other couples that decided it seemed reasonable to seriously put or lives on the line for $55. After an incredibly bumpy ride in the van we arrive in yet another jungle.  The guide hurry's through some instructions, none of which I understand.  I hope for the best when he hooks me to the line, tells me to hold on and pushes me off the ledge.  The first one is a terrified blur .... they got MUCH better after that.  The whole expereince was crazy, and there wasn't one zip line they hooked me to that I didn't think I was going to die on.  But ..... despite the fear, it was awesome and we're sooo glad we went through with it.

We grabbed some jerk wings and cold beer in town and headed back to "camp", upon entering our room we realize it's now a totally different color (ok, I'm impressed)  Dave wanted to surf (so did I, but once I got there it didn't seem like such a good idea after all).  So D rented a board and I played the papparazi.  He managed to hoist himself up at least 3 or 4 times ... no small feat, as I didn't see any other first timer accomplish that!  He surfed till it rained, I adopted a lab puppy and played fetch.

Just finshed showering up and now headed back to town for dinner ... we may just have to hit that lobster up a second time ....
