On Thursday I took a meter-taxi to Mahboonkrong (MBK) to do some shopping. Bought myself a cool t-shirt saying "I do all my own stunts" and a few other things. Had quite a bit of time so I decided to watch a Thai movie called "The Cadaver" ("Sop" in Thai I think), which was an alright horror flick. Ate some nice sushi and 2 donuts from Dunkin Donuts and had a very nice ice coffee. Then I took a sky train to Sala Daeng and met up with Elisabeth in the afternoon and helped her move into a new place. She was staying with a friend for a while, now she is in an apartment that a lady from work is providing for her, but she has to move to a new place again after.

We got her stuff to the new apartment which is on Sathorn road in a large complex on the 22nd floor. It has a breath-taking view over the city...I took some great pictures from the balconey. It was quite amazing seeing the very alive city from such a high point.

In the evening we went out for some fruit and then hung out at her place for quite a while. Since her landlord might have come late in the evening I didn't stay over but took a meter-taxi home at some point. Plus she had to work yesterday anyway.

Yesterday morning I got up and had breakfast at my guest house (a banana pancake and mixed fruit shake). Then I walked around Banglamphu for a while and decided to get a casual looking suit jacket tailored for a very low price. I shopped around until I found a cheap one and ordered a 2-button casual black tight-fitted 50% cashmere 50% wool jacket. Then I went to a cafe to have a shake on Khao San road, then decided to walk to Phahurat, the Indian district. This took a while, so it was lunch time by the time I got there. I had lunch at Royal India (same place I went to a few weeks ago) and had a very very nice Thali with chicken curry, tandoori chicken, some vegetable dishes, very nice chai masala, the best mango lassi ever, and a sweet desert (don't know the name). Very yummy indeed.

Afterwards I walked back to Khao San road and decided to get an oil massage for an hour at a place nearby. Then it was time for my suit fitting at the tailor. This only took 5 minutes, then it was time to get a taxi to Sathorn road to meet up with Elisabeth. We went to her place for a short while, I got changed, then we took a sky train for a few stops to Lumphini park to go jogging. It was just getting dark so it was nice and cool (relatively) and we ran for over an hour. The park was amazing. At the beginning there were a lot of people doing (free) aerobics and Tai Chi, then people playing soccer, basketball, jogging etc. The park has a nice lake in the center and well-mowed lawns, so it was pretty amazing running there as it was getting dark with nice trees and grass but the huge city (skyscrapers etc) in the background.

Afterwards we got some fresh fruit and ate that on the way back, then had some joghurt and musli for "dinner". Then just stayed at her place for a while.

This morning we got up quite early and went out to get fresh fruit (papaya and pineapple) and had musli with that and milk. Then I got a Swedish massage from her haha...at least as good as the traditional Thai ;-) Now I had to go back to Khao San to extend my hotel for another night (we will probably stay here tonight and go out in the area) and to get pick up my suit from the tailor pretty soon. I just had a fresh coconut and showered, now I will get some fresh mango and then pick up the suit, then probably head back to Elisabeth's place. Only two days left now! Bye bye!
