Over the first few months of 2004 not alot really went on except a few festivals and lots of going out on Friday nights oh and a dinner party that I hosted.

We have celebrated Bruce's birthday, where we filled his unit with Balloons, lots of them, only to discover that he is actually afraid of them!

In February we celebrated Rick's Birthday, which we celebrated at a restaurant called the Looking Glass, in the village.

Many Friday nights out with the boys, which I called my gay night out, as it is inevitably in the village.

In March, Rick had Sandy's car so we headed out to to the the Kortright Maple Centre, so see a maple syrup festival. It was lovely and it began to snow as we were wandering around. Saw massive maple trees, and how they were tapped for the sap. Tasted the syrup, which is very watery to start off with and also saw how they prepared it back in the olden days.

Headed to Burlington to go out with Tania for her birthday and organised our trip to the Maritimes.

Elmira Maple Festival. Rick and Bruce drove out with me. It was sunny. Elora Gorge and wandered around the old mill. Rick and I were running scared through the forest pretending to do the Blair Witch product.

Leaving work was hard, I had made so many great friends at the Attorney General's office and I would miss them dearly. Pauline, whom I worked with, had asked me what was the one thing that I missed (foodwise). I said my mum's roast pork! As a farewell gift, she presented me with a Roast Pork - carribean style.........yes a whole roast pork!. I would have to say one of the most bizarriest weirdest farewell presents I have every received, but the most delish and appreciated. I ate it all weekend and then made sandwiches for the first day of my tour out east!
