My last night in Cambodia.  I am completely overwhelmed and sad that I am leaving.  This morning I said my very tearful goodbyes to Jimmy.  I found it incredibly hard to get on that bus heading from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh, even though I was travelling to PP with a friend my heart was breaking in two.  Who knew what the future held.  I was leaving a country that is so attached to my heart.  I am going back to a country that I haven't really lived/settled in for over 14 years?

Once I arrived in the chaos of the PP bus station, I was quick to grab a tuk tuk to the Nordic to meet up with my besties...Scott and Donna.

We basically spend the afternoon catching up over a few beers and a bite to eat.  The evening was spent with all the boys (the gang) and we ended up at Karoke as per the usual, finished off with a bowl of piping hot noodles...(when would I get my fix again)?

My last day was spent hanging with Donna, doing a bit of shopping before having lunch with Donna and Woz at Friends restaurant (after all the times I've been here I still hadn't gotten there). Of course completely touristy, yet the cause is still worthy.

At one point during the day I did contemplate missing my flight and staying put....being very irresponsible, but some how it felt thrilling...before my head pulled me in straight again (knowing that if I did any such thing I would suffer the wrath of my family who hadn't seen me in 2 years and were eagerly awaiting my return).

I won't even mention my mood as I hoped into that last tuk tuk to the airport.....it wasn't pretty as I said my farewells to my friends and to the Country that I have come to love.
