First it was A, who had been at Happy for many months and was doing good things in the community. She is heading to Oz for awhile before heading back here. We celebrated with a party at Happy GH.
Then it was Nick. I will miss him alot. It is sad to farewell Nick. I met him in Kampot many weeks ago and got on very well....heading off on our separate paths we ended up meeting up again here at Happy GH....he is heading onto new ventures and exciting times, but he will leave his footprint behind. Actually he is headed back to Kampot to house sit, or should I say shack sit, for a friend of a friend. That should be interesting for him. A huge group gathered to farewell him and We ate at a great vegetarian restuarant called Chamkar and finished with a fruitshake from a street stall.
Saying goodbyes again, I farewelled Judit. She has become a very dear friend and we have shared many funny moments with. She is actually heading to Kampot for a few days too...we spent some time shopping at the night markets and ended up eating at Chamkar (as she had not eaten there yet) and it was a lovely night. Everyone is leaving Happy GH and only a few of us remain.....
