We really did it. Our odometer reads 2700 miles. What's amazing to me is that I had no idea what to expect. I made a rough estimation of our direction and timing on Google maps and we were able to do exactly what we set out to do. It's amazing. It's empowering. Anyone can do it.
While cruising around Rome yesterday we bumped into the Garbett family from Utah, who often visit Italy. We met them at church earlier that day. They were kind enough to invite us dinner for tonight.
Dinner was an amazing experience. We show up and the Italian lady who owns the place comes out and greets the Garbetts with kisses and then proceeds to bring out course after course of authentic Italian cuisine. It was very cool. We left so full we could hardly walk. Thanks Garbetts.

Does it feel good to be home?
Hi Randy and Chrissy,
We have loved following your blog and can't believe all that you have seen and done. Thanks for sharing it with us but we will leave the biking to the two of you. If you are ever in Sacramento you always have a place to stay--give us a ring.

Whew!
Wow! What a trip. Your blog was so entertaining and informative. I'm sad that it's over, but glad that you are back in Minneapolis in person!
See you soon, hopefully.
