We left Clinton at 5:30 in the morning, it was chilly enough for jackets but it had the makings of a beautiful ride. I nodded off for the first couple of hours but was wide awake by the time we crossed the Mississippi river. We took the short cut through Iowa into Minnesota then stopped for the night at Sioux Falls. We got there early enough that we could actually go to the Falls park which is beautiful. I think Bruce got really tired of me taking so many pictures but I just love those falls. We ended the day with 600 miles. Stopped at a Super 8 that had to have the smallest rooms ever, we won't make that mistake again!
