We had to make up some time today but we did have a few stops. The first was Winslow which was made famous by the Eagles. If you're on Route 66, you have to stop to get your picture taken standing on the corner. There is a statue in front of a mural of a girl in a flatbed Ford. There is also an actual flatbed parked there.

A little further up the road is the Jackrabbit trading post. I don't know why this has been so lasting but it is one of the more popular signs along 66. "Here It Is"
