6 days and 2012 miles later and we have finally arrived. Through rain, hail, wind, snow and lots of wind. Through fields, up and down mountains, and across the desert. Hot engines and cold nights. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times....ok that might be a little too much. We have made it to our oasis in the desert and almost everyone still thinks it was worth it.
Gar gave us a tour of his place which is very nice. He has already put a lot of work in to it. He also took us to Pappy and Harriet's which I will be talking about more after Saturday when he performs there. It is a really cool place.
Nothing planned for today and I think everyone is happy about that at the moment. Amy will be arriving later and we will be going out to eat at a restaurant in Yucca Valley. I'm not sure what we're doing after that but will let everyone know.
I'll probably put quite a few pictures and a video in today so keep an eye out for the new ones.

Finally, the blue hornet gets a rest
Glad to hear you are all safe and sound....Can't wait to see more pics....Jill, Myron and Jack
Great!
You've arrived! I can't wait for more photos.....
Gar's place sounds awesome. Dad told me he's looking for snakes! Protect him from critters -- he's not as tough as he looks.
Re: Great!
Mom will protect him, after she makes him and sandwich and applies his pain patch to his hynie.....Dad is just a little slow out of the gate on this one, but he is going to find his inner naturalist. He and Mom have their lifetime National Park pass and Myron would be disappointed it they didn't get the most bang for their buck. There are 391 National Parks so he has about 388 to go. Mom has already done Denali and a few others so he might have to do some solo trips to catch up.
love the pics
pics look great!!!!!! this looks like the best campground yet. will keep looking for more pics.....
Wait a second....
Is that Gar's yard -- where Mom and Dad are sitting in lawn chairs outside the RV? Please say no.
