I don't think this is what the desert fathers had in mind when they left Zion, but we made our exodus through the desert and have arrived in Las Vegas. The winds were treacherous and the Blue Hornet was blown around pretty good, but we arrived safely and have made it in to Vegas about an hour ago. We are at the one and only campground on the strip....the Las Vegas KOA at Circus Circus. This is the first time that Sal expressed any preference in our accomodations and we were happy to accomodate. Sal is thrilled and is intent on earning some gas money tonight. John has informed her that the rig is moving tomorrow at 11 am so all passengers need to be on board. John and I were off to an early start this morning to see a little more of Zion. They restricted vehicles in the park a few years back so we took a park shuttle. I think John was glad to have someone else do the driving. A few of our favorite sites were the 3 Patriarchs, Angels Landing and the Weeping Rocks. Mom and Dad stayed back at the camp and rested up. I will post more later and let you know how Sal does at the machines. Tonight is my last night before I head back to Michigan. Love ya...J

Love the photos!
Great photos! I was really looking forward to seeing them and they didn't disappoint. The video of my Big Guy was an extra bonus. Sal is in her element.... I'll keep my fingers crossed for her..... Good work with the post. Thanks for the pics

Jillmo...Oh won't you stay
...just a little bit longer? You're so close! I can't believe you're leaving before seeing THE desert house and...moi. If that doesn't move you, there's a thrilling Italian meal in the works for Friday night. You really should try the 'best cappucino in the world.' It is at the very least, the best cappucino I or any of my friends who have eaten at Stefano's have tasted.

Great job with the blog! Thanks for posting pics. Looks beautiful out there.

Love,
A.
