Howdy Ramblers,
This just in: Denise (Gar's sister) has said that if you will be in Morongo Valley at 11 a.m. on Thursday, she can show you around the meerkat preserve where she volunteers. If you've never tuned into Animal Planet's fabulous 'Meerkat Manor,' you might not know how much you are going to adore these charismatic little critters. In that case, just take my word for it: they could not be cuter, and are feisty, rambunctious, filled with personality, and extremely social and family-oriented. Usually, you have to pay $100 to 'Adopt-a-Meerkat' to get one-on-one time and feed them grubworms from your gloved hand, but Denise can hook you up on Thursday at 11, as they have a breather in the schedule. Utah ....
Just spoke to Jill and Red Columbus. They've made it to Utah, Dad got some underwear, they are thinking about dinner, Dad still 'doesn't have any idea', John is still driving, Mom is probably looking out the window to see if she can see Lindsay Lohan leaving Charm School, Jill is on her other cell phone, all is well. Jill says she's uploading photos later... Can't wait.
