Hangzhou is still cold but there is a development, there is now little bits of rain here and there, so my waterproof jacket is coming in handy.

Today I walked around the West Lake by myself and took some pictures and videos which you can see if you click on them. There are less people walking around given it is a work day, so mainly just chinese tourists. The visibility was particularly poor today given the mist generated by the cold temperatures and the proximity of the lake. I walked around for a couple of hours and then walked to the shopping centre areas. I decided to have some western food for lunch. McDonalds.
Yesterday a Starbucks hot chocolate cost $4AUD and today a McDonalds 20 nuggets, large chips and large Coke was only $3AUD. What a bargain!

Afterwards I went to a big supermarket based on the French version called Carrefaur or something like that. It is like a cross between a KMart and a Coles supermarket with everything from vegetables to 50' Plasma TVs.
