After a cool night's sleep, we got out of Post Falls about ten AM.  Fiona was fixed, a bit, by the dealership, so we were confident.  The road was better than anticipated, but the wet spots did succeed in giving the new ride a light coat of salt of some sort.  We stopped again at the Rest Area on the Montana side of Lookout Pass for lunch.  It felt strange to be in a new home and stranger yet to realize that it is ours.

After lunch, I mentioned to Lynn that this rig drives much easier than Shorty and that she might want to sit in the driver's seat and check it out. Not so...yet.

I took the wheel and continued explaining the advantages of Fiona.  She has a rear-facing video camera, video cameras on each side that come on with the turn signals to cover the "blind" spot and much better outside mirrors. These new ones are power adjustable and have great, smaller, panoramic mirrors attached.

Apparently what was said made a difference.  At the next pull-out, Lynn told me she'd like to give it a try.  She did, and drove the fifty miles of curves down from nearly the top of Look Out.  She was fairly relaxed, yet vigilant and seemed to enjoy the experience.  Me?  I chilled and sent a few texts and looked out the window and enjoyed the scenery.

Lynn has always been an excellent driver.  Now she can share in the experience and we can both see a bit more of our trips from the "other side."

We got home in the early evening, just in time for Pizza leftovers.  Then, Lynn unloaded the coach while I worked at making blocks to add to the automatic leveling jacks.  We did this so we could open the slide room and show the neighbors as they dropped by.  It also lets us get into the bedroom closets to unload and fabricate more shelves.

Today we worked at re-loading and I had a chance to make one shelf for the living area to increase the room available for storing of groceries.

Joe, our son, and Melanie, his wife, and their pooches stopped by for a tour.  It was a nice break from our toil.  We got lots done.  It was a long day, as you might imagine.  We've located most of the stuff we had unloaded from Shorty, but some we have apparently hidden from ourselves.  More shall revealed...

It's good to have a responsible sales force behind your new purchase. There are always issues with a new or new/used RV. Glad she's up to snuff now.
