We came up to the lake place on Friday.  The point of this trip was to cut down and buck up the dead trees to firewood length.  That we did for about six hours on Saturday and about half of a day today, Sunday.  The weather was truly outstanding, with temps in the mid-seventies and a nice breeze to help challenge the tree fallers.

All went well and we took down at least 12 trees, the tallest of which must have been about a hundred feet, if I remember correctly.  No injuries occurred and a good time was had by all...mebbe.

The food was it's typical outstanding and the plentitude was more than adequate.  I got a couple shots of a bald eagle above the place and various other shots.  I'll try to get them posted soon on  http://www.flickr.com/photos/ralphieboyo.

I hope to keep us all entertained with our activities over the summer months and could always use a suggestion or two.  <Fat chance.>
