Our trip today included about sixty miles of two lane roads through some beautiful, treed, agricultural land.  The corn is up and should easily be knee-high by the fourth of May. Seriously... It's showing from two inches up to half a foot already!  There must be thousands of acres of it.  From the number of silos in the area, I'm assuming that it's for animal fodder. We then got back onto Interstate 10 for the rest of the trip.

The fields are very wet from the recent rains, but we had clear skies until just now as the sun works it's way down to the horizon.  It just might be a photo-worthy sunset.  We're in what I would call a "low-end" park near Seguin.  It's old and in it's "has been" stages.  Cash or check only is the method of payment, but...it's cheap and offers WES or SEW or EWS as you see fit.

We drove into Seguin proper and did our laundry.  It went much smoother than our last outing, since the machines were Idiot Proof.  Heh, heh, heh...

We got back to the Park by about six and had a salad dinner.  Lynn's recipe is one of my mom's and a favorite: Shrimp Salad with macaroni and sliced stuffed green olives.  Mmmm, mmmm.  Coupled with cole slaw it was a good-un.

We'll head into a Costco nearby in  Selma, about fifteen miles north.  I'll check back with you tomorrow.
