On Friday, Rich drove us up to see the "famous" Key Deer.  This is apparently an endangered species, but they were all over the place. They don't know about the designation, it would seem.  They look to be about one-third the size of our Mule Deer in Montana.  It's difficult to tell from the photos, since all of them were taken in a telephoto mode.  Rich referred to them as the "Key Ba%#@^s," in reference to my earlier name for those that had invaded our yard in Helena.

On Saturday morning, early, the other Dear left Fandango.  Joe and Mel's plane was to leave in the afternoon.  It was about a hundred and fifty miles or more to the airport.  They got there in plenty of time and made their connection in Denver.  They are now back in the Montana clime and well.

Lisa and Rich left Miami in the semi-wee hours this morning.  They took a little extra time and went again to Gulfstream Horse Racing Track to look after their investments or such.  No reports have been received about that.

I got a bit sad around the place after they left.  It's rare that all of our family gets together.  It was a good time.  We saw much and did a lot together. Families are like that.  We ate well and celebrated.

Later in the morning, we moved to the Jolly Roger Travel Park on Marathon Key.  It was a drive of about forty miles and went smoothly.  I must say that it's good to be back in a Home with Wheels.  We'll be here for seven nights. There are lots of places to visit and much to do.  Lynn has the plan.

I'll be keeping in touch...

Moving right along, eh? Nothing like a fambly reunion every so often.

Waiting for the entry announcing your welcome by Fidel's brother Raoul. Sounds like the family had a good time.

Glad you ALL had such a good time! Really nice that you got everyone in one spot for a few days, and what a spot! Back from Sedona last night, 70 when we left Mesa and snowing on the drive between Bozo and Helena! Home is good! Thinking of youse two! Hugs....

wow what a wonderful family time. I know what you mean about the sadness, it's tough when your kids leave, but boy aren't we blessed to have them.

Sad they are gone but what a cool thing that you all got together-your family. You are right, it doesn't happen that often. We are in Vegas with me rushing all around to yard sales, flea markets and second hand stores to find things for my ebay business. Sounds a little boring compared to your wanderlust. Oh, please don't let any of those deer hide in your rig and make their way back to Helena.
