Where I stayed
Buffalo Jump Casino and RV Park, Fort Hall, Idaho
We got a bit of a late start this morning. As I was hooking up Sooby to Shorty, we did a taillight check to be safe. The right turn signal wasn't operating. I took the whole shebang out to Terry's Trailer Shop. He's an old friend and husband of a former colleague of Lynn's. As I suspected, the bulb was burned-out. He graciously checked it out for no charge and we went in search of a replacement. The closest store was Walmart. Fortunately, the had a few of the 7443s in stock. The replacement took only a few minutes and we were off!
The winter weather was absent today, which made it easy for us to make good time, in spite of our one hour delay. The road all the way to Fort Hall, Idaho, were bare and dry. We did encounter a steady headwind however, which kept me busy. We covered a distance of three-hundred and thirty miles today, a "personal record" for us. We stayed at an RV park right behind a casino here. We're on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation. The Bannock and Shoshone tribes are in residence here. We went into the casino to register and were greeted by several of the friendly, local folks. We had a decent dinner at the grill there.
Since the nights are still very cold, we haven't added water to Shorty's tank. We carry a couple of two-gallon containers, which suffice for our needs. The bathroom in the park takes care of the rest.
I caught a few photos from here, which I haven't processed yet. You be the judge. I picked up a polaroid filter for the Fuji camera and gave it a try. I'm not sure how to use it, since it's adjustable. Eventually I'll figure it out...or not.
We had a nice, quiet night's sleep and got a reasonably early start in the morning. We're off to Nephi, Utah.

The snow hit here this afternoon evening! You got out of town just in time! Hugs
Nice to see your blog again.
You did make the great escape. They even shut streets off in Helena it was that bad.
The folks on this blog are right....it was bad here with around 100 accidents....I think the storm came in celebration of you leaving all the rest of us here to suffer. By now you are probably in warm weather...lucky you....but we just have to wait 5-6 more months for that. Thanks for the photos....
Oh, is that a polaroid filter or polarizing filter?
Stay safe out there Ralphie. Winter is right behind you.
