We've had a wonderful time up here this trip.  No company, except for our dear Rogue.  She's enhanced our trip, especially in keeping us walking.  We're up to three half-hour walks a day and she's growing in strength and conditioning, as are we.  I try to add an extra half hour to my walks to get in better shape.  Retirement isn't as easy as you would think, IF you stay active.

We have all of our jam making done for the time being and will finish our wood splitting today.  We'll also get some of the packing done for the season.  We'll be back before winter, but it's getting down into the thirties now.  We'll want to take anything "freezable" home with us.

Tomorrow we'll do the winterizing.  It takes a couple of hours to blow out the water lines and add RV antifreeze.  Then, when we return, we will activate the winter water system and we're good to go.

I'm adding a potpourri of pix to todays blog.  The wildlife seem to have moved out, especially the moose.  We've seen a couple of deer famblies, but nothing else of the larger varieties.  The bluebirds are hanging on and I've spotted a few red-tail hawks and a couple of blue heron.  No pix though of these beautiful creatures.

This will do it until our next trip.  Hopefully we'll take Shorty out for one more journey before the time comes to do the winterization on him.  Thanks for stopping by...
