We left Helena at about eight and got to Lisa and Rich's at six-forty-five. We made about four stops on the way and drove steadily until we got to this destination.  That's nearly ten hours of "saddle time", no matter how you slice it.

Lisa was at home to greet us, along with the lovely Madison, her fox terrier.  The weather is warm with broken clouds, but enough blue to make a sailor's suit.  That's what my mother told me that her mother told her.  If you can see enough blue in the sky to do that, the day will be nice.  I believed her and still do.  Think about it and try it out...

The drive on I-90 was a challenge.  There's so much construction that it could get on a person's nerves.  It didn't.  Coming up Lookout Pass, which is now restricted to two lanes, we got behind a large tractor trailer carrying a large piece of equipment.  He couldn't make it over twenty miles an hour.  It was a slow, albeit scenic, drive.  Can't get excited over such a minor event in one's life.

I'll get some pictures and write more as things develop. We hope to pick some blackberries this trip and are going to a Huskeys football game on Saturday.  The rest of the time is open...

See you all later.
