Since it's Monday, a day once dreaded by us as working folks, there were far fewer folks up here this morning.  Ah yes, I DO remember heading back home to go back to work.  I also remember that it was a very rare Monday when I wasn't content to return.  It worked for me then and does even yet.  I try to keep a positive outlook on all things...

We got the new lawn planted over and around the septic tank.  It reminded me of the book by Irma Bombeck, "The Grass is always Greener over the Septic Tank."  Hopefully it will come to pass here too.
We went into Anaconda again today, I to attend a meeting and Lynn to pick up a few items.  It was a bit cooler today, getting only up to seventy, with more cloud cover.  Nice though, what with the clear, clean air and views everywhere.

We went on a walk yesterday and I got a few shots, especially of the damage to one house just down the road from us.  When the surrounding trees are removed, the wind pattern changes.  You can see the result.  Not much else can be done though, since the pine beetles have killed so many trees.  Selective logging would help, as I've stated before.  We have about twenty or so trees affected on our lot.  The majority of them are still in good condition, thanks to the care taken by one of the girls in spraying and all.  Good job!

We'll be having company tomorrow.  So we did a bit of cleaning.  Lynn also made the macaroons.  Mighty tasty!  I found a recipe on the 'Net and it worked out very well.

That's about all of the "excitement" that we've had since yesterday.  i do hope that you're not overwhelmed by it all.  Whelmed would be sufficient.  Thanks again for stopping by...
