We awoke to a cool temperature of forty-five degrees this morning, befitting a Good Friday.  We left this peaceful park just before the eleven o'clock check-out time.  We set up the GPS Ozzie Girl to guide us to,our next home-away-from-home near Ellicot, Maryland.  It was about a two hour drive, or so I thought.  Once you get out of the country and back on the Interstate, things can change.  And, they did...

After a couple of bad i.e. incorrect turns, I ended up in a large parking lot behind a large business building.  Not a bad thing, since I had plenty of room to turn around and hit 'er again.  We finally got to state Highway 4O and found the signs to the Campground.

It's cold here and had barely started to rain as we checked in.  Fortunately, we had made reservations online.  It's interesting, that no matter where or how you make them, there 's a charge of $4.38 per night.  I'm sure it's a way to keep things going in an economy such as we have now.  The roads in the park are hilly and very narrow.  Our site is a fine one though.  I did block up the rear wheels to get Shorty more level.  As usual, he sighed a deep sigh as he reached the point of his inner equilibrium.  He has feelings to, you know.

We had lunch and now we're listening to the pitter-patter of little drops as they massage Shorty's roof.  Not a bad sound.  At least it's quieter than the gunfire from the shooting range at our last stop and the sounds of aircraft there too.  We did hear one train so far, so we feel right at home.

We were thinking about all of the time we have spent "waiting" at the various stoplights we have encountered so far on the trip.  We figure we have spent at least a full week just waiting for a light to change or for the traffic to continue moving.  Not a bad time though.  It's gives us pause to consider how blessed we are to be able to take such a grand journey through our land.  Living in the moment makes life an even greater gift.

I have only included one video today.  It's of a bit of our drive into the park.  More photos to follow, as the weather permits us to continue exploring.  Hasta la vista...
