Cloud when we got up today, but warm. We got a fairly early start, since our next stop was just a skosh over two hundred miles. We encountered rain not long after we hit I-10. Not a bad thing, since Sooby was still covered with some Mississippi sand from our trip to James'. The rain was fairly heavy at times, but was refreshing and not bad to drive in. The spray from the eighteen wheelers was a bit bothersome, but with new wiper blades, the "windscreen" stayed clear.

We drove to a rest area near Tallahassee, the state capital, and stopped for a quick lunch break. After about a quarter of an hour, we were back on the road again... did I just say that? Thanks to Willie Nelson, we're all a bit more clever.

Driver's Eye View...

. We're now at Lee's Country RV Park. It was built twenty-one years ago by the current owners and is a real gem. Staying where we did last night helps us to appreciate a great place. It's surrounded by a wooded area and is grass covered. The owner's wife welcomed us well and told us that they honored the Geezer Pass. What a surprise! It cost us only fifteen dollars to stay the night. Compared to the thirty five dollars last night, this is a real treat. With the gasoline prices ranging from $3'55.9 and up, this helps.

It's shower and laundry time, so I'd best close this up. The laundry is outside, on the patio of the office. Nice. Fresh air and breezes keep one cool while the laundry washes and dries. I don't think I'd try that at home though... Tomorrow we head for Callahan, Florida to Kelley's RV Park to stay through St. Patrick's Day. What a fitting location for a celebration...
