Where I stayed
In front of Pat's house
Went out to dinner last night and caught up on lost time with our friend Pat. Good times! Had a decent night's sleep, in spite of the incessant wind. Cold here. Woke up to 30˚ temps. Went shopping for fixings for our New Year's Eve dinner. Orange roughy fixed with onions, Lowrey's and bleu cheese and baked in foil. Can't wait... Went then to lunch with Teresa Guay, my sister-in-law who once again lives here. Again good times! It's great to catch up with family and find out what is what and who is where. She's doing fine and is happy that she moved back from Mississippi. Lots of friends here with whom to spend some time.
We decided to leave here for Kingman, AZ tomorrow. We'll travel via highway 93 and go via Hoover Dam. Hopefully, we'll be able to cross the new bridge over the Colorado River. That would be...um...errr...Awsome. (I hate that word, but am using it to show our daughter Lisa that I'm open-minded. Happy New Year to all of you! Thanks for your support, love and kindness over the last year. I expect great things of 2011, but will wait, and LIVE, one day at the time. It does work for me...
Oh, the Soobie: got it back, fit as a fiddle, by 10AM today. Clutch is cool and the cost was reasonable. Now I must decide if I should call Mechanic Jim and tell him how unpleased I am with the job he did. Hmmm... another decision.
