It felt right and we were looking forward to leaving our travels in a camper van to more luxourious accommodation in Tahiti. We we fortunate to get a good deal at Radisson and needed the 7 nights of resting. We decided before getting here that we were going to use this part of our break to just relax and do very little and enjoy the resort, we were amazed when we went to our room and saw the huge jacuzzi with view out to the sea.

The only thing we would change if we could would be the weather as it rained for 5 days straight! Also the beach was beautiful with black sand but the water not so inviting. We took a trip to the city on the free shuttle bus and it was a very busy place, I kindof knew that this was French Polynesia before we arrived but didn't realise how "French" it would be and how little English some people would speak. At night they have caravans which sell different types of food, we went for a long walk and luckily found one selling pizza and the one next door had chips!
