Many people have said to us that we must visit Rotorua and we are glad that we managed to make it here given how little time we had left. There is immense thermal activity here and this can easily be seen at the local parks. We had some nice sunny days and made a trip out to the Redwood Forest, we were hoping that this would give us a taste of what the the national park in California would be like.
