Where I stayed
Lynch Haven Caravan Park
The next few days it rained even more. Unfortunately that meant that we could not make the most of this stunning area and the walks that it offered. The rain did not dampen our spirits and we enjoyed the windy roads with amusing signs as we made our way up to Cape Tribulation. The views from this high point were stunning and even the clouds and rain probably gave it a completely different perspective.
On our way back down we went to a National Park discovery centre where a canopy made high up took us through rainforest and a range of displays information about some very prehistoric creatures.
We managed to get away with no more leech attacks and yet to see a very prehistoric looking bird called a cassowary.
