We made our way to our next destination - Palm Cove with a new driver, Komilla! As Raj held onto the sides of the car in fear, Komilla took the road for the first time. Apart for turning on the wind wipers instead of the indicators several times and waving her hand about where the gear box would be, she did a good job!

We stopped at famous beach called Palm Cove and headed straight down to the waters wondering whether we needed to put our swimmers on. The water was freezing and it was very windy so we opted instead to walk along the waters. We later discovered that the waters here were inhabited by some deadly jelly fish! It was busy along the beach but nothing like the beaches in England where beaches are usually packed on a sunny day. The sand was really soft and it was nice just to walk along the stunning coastline and take in the beautiful views. This was why we had decided to do the East Coast - the beaches, and we weren't disappointed.

We found our next campsite a little further down in a place called Ellis Beach. Our campsite was right on the beach, a mere 200m from the sea. This campsite was a little crowded and we didn't have an allocated spot but we didn't mind as we heard the waves as we fell asleep.
