Left Agadir about midday and headed for a town on the outskirts called Ait melloul. Its famous for its trade with anything to do with cars.. its all there. We snooped around to see if anyone wanted to buy the last mercedes engine we had.. not much luck really. We left one of the tyres in for repair that had a gash on the outside and wasnt repaired properly in Essaouira. In the meantime we drove out to find the big, messy breakers yard somewhere outside of ait melloul. We finally found it in some massive compound surrounded by a pink castle wall made of straw and mud. Awkward stuff. Breakers yards are rough places so image this one in the middle of morocco.

We stopped at a place jay had been before and offered the engine for sale. Soon lots of Moroccan mechanics where hovering around like flies on s**t but everyone was offering half-price like many times before on this trip.. world financial crisis hitting this far as well?
We finally found some guy but he gave us a hard time and certainly thought he was well cool. Trying to charm a bargain and all the time trying to take a stereo. He even disliked me taking photos so i did anyway
