We stopped off in a small town to refuel and all the locals were staring at us. A bunch of schoolkids came up to us shouting "stylo stylo!" which means pen in french. In these countries these sort of items are expensive and luckily i had brought a whole bunch of pens and dished some out. They where all smiles! We had some goat tajine and set off.
The countryside along the way was dry, rugged and arid - yet beautiful
Finally made it to Agadir in the afternoon. Its very different to many Moroccan towns as everything was destroyed in the 1960s by a devastating earthquake followed by a tidal wave. The architecture of this town therefore dates from this era.
We booked into a small hotel that Jay always stayed in. we got the top floor and it was really hot. My bed was tiny and way soft as the mattress springs were broken so we undid the cupboard doors and placed them under the mattress.
