After the intensive tour of Gibraltar we decide to head off to Tarifa, just 30mins away from Algeciras to catch the ferry to Tangier, Morocco. On the way we pass through a lot of mountains and pass many windmills as Tarifa is famous for its high winds. We arrive at sunset and stop off at a Lidl to do some quick shopping. We head off into town and finally arrive at the harbour only to find we have missed the 9pm boat and that all ticket offices are closed exept for the harbour but they want 40euros more than outside of the harbour! We pass a closed ticket office and ask for some tickets. Luckily the lady makes an axception and gives us 2 tickets, a huge saving!
We walk around town and actually want to buy some more groceries but everywhere is closed. We wander around the old part of town, filled with cramped streets but very beautiful. I get a quick snack.
We finally head off to the harbour to board the boat at 11pm. Its small and empty. On the top deck i shoot the last pic of Europe
