To learn more about the famouse in some circles, Hurtigrutin boat line Google it. Each day at 8PM one of their fleet departs Bergen for Kirkenes making 35 stops in six days, then returns to Bergen.
I made a snap decision to start a day early on my trip. Would go as far as Harstad on the Fifth day. It is fairly pricey even for Norwegians on their economy. Most people book a cabin but you can go as a deck passenger, sleeping in the lounge or whereever.
The stops along the way..
Bergan, Flore, M'le;y, Torvik, Alesund, Geriranger, Alesund, Molae, Kristiansund, Trondheim, 3rd largest city, Rorvik, Bronnyoysund, Sandnessjoen, Nesna, Ornes, Bodo, Stamsund Svolver, Stokmarknes, Sortland, Risoyhamn, HARSTAD where I disembarked. Ship continued to Finnsnes, Tromso, Skjervoy, Oksfjord, Hammerfest, Havoysund, Honningsvag, Kjollefjord, Mehamn, Berlevag, Batsfjord, Vardo, Vadso, Kirkenes, not far from the Russian border.
