A big celebration was planned for their Fiftieth Anniversary and I wanted to be there. So I traveled from Hayward, CA to join them and relatives and friends.
Decided to go by bus rather than fly or drive. Took several days. Met Rosie Sharpe from London on the bus. She says she likes to visit the colonies from time to time.
Stayed in touch for a while and spent a week in London at her house in 1980.
