Then on down the coast stopping often for incrdible views.
"But view S from Cape Foulweather is most beautiful sea cost I've ever seen. Also Depoe Bay, Devil's Punch Bowl, Otter Cret and Yquina Head. Artist country. 1600 Just had swim in N. Pacific. Newpport Oregon. Is cool! 5-10 min total & currents are tricky if not necessarily dangerous a advertised. 1500. Visted Oregon St. Univ Marine Sci. Cnt. at Newport. Small but well done. Got John Allen's phone number 752-0948 & called Connie in Corvalis. OSU campus Arrived ther (5788 NW Fair Oaks Pl.) 1800. Her parents there for ~ month. Dinner & slept over.
Day turned out just perfect on coast & inland."
