We decided to buzz along and a cupla us (mel and myself) decided to get new piercings, al was in two minds about a tattoo, but in the end, mel got her tongue pierced, and i got a new eyebrow piercing! Happy days!!
After getting it done, i did my usual blackout for a little bit, but was delighted all the same! So it was down to the bar afterwards for some grub and a few aul pints...!
At one stage when i was at the bar, onea the barstaff asked if i was entering the compeition..? I didnt have a clue wot he was on about but the pub's owner, Paddy (sound man! Fond of the Irish Whiskey and knows how to sort out his customers with it nicely!) was over and told me i had to enter the competition!!
So down went my name for the piercing sidea the comp, as tattoos are slightly lacking on me!! Anyway, later in the evening the comp started off..
Tattoos first - some people had fukin huge ones and some were class.. others looked a tad worse for wear but all good overall. Later the piercing comp started - i was the only one entered into my section of it.. and so what happens.. I win! Couldnt believe it - noone else entered in it at all...!
I found out a few days later that the piercer himself pulled outa my section so i could win it.. He entered the most 'unusual piercing' category and won that.. he'd tattoos and piercings combined together - ie a piercing being parta a tattoo and looking like its meant to be there!! Was class!!
Anyway had a great night and was lots of fun and even got a trophy to take home with me! Mad eh?!
