Right so went to Lake Naivasha and camped there on the first night of the trip after leaving Nairobi. We camped not far from the water. (This place was close to somewhere that a tourist got trampeled by a rhino - she was told NOT to get between it and the water and did... and then got crushed to death).
The day after we arrived there we took a boat ride over to Karen Blixens House, where we found out a bit about her life and what she did in Africa for the animals and people. On the way in the boat we saw some locals fishing in the lake. They just use sticks / branches to spear the fish and just wade in - water is quite shallow in partsa the lakes as we seen them a gudbit into it and the water wasnt that high on them (See picts)
We also went to a Giraffe Centre / park while based at Lake Naivasha, we saw loads of giraffes.. and some zebras, antelope, some different bird life as well. Was amazing to be so close to the giraffes... They're SO tall! (Suprising that).
