Oh travel blog, how I have missed thee. The days pass me by, but I visit thee not. At last I come into thine illustrious presence, but so much time hast elapsed that I have forgotten the tales I wish to tell thee.

A brief nod to our climb up the Malverns in the dark month of December, whence we adventured so long ago.

Fair Malcolm took us on a wide trespass of the skirts of North Hill. This excitement brought on a fever of the spirit, which proved too much for valiant Elaine, whose moisture secreting nasal passages and throbbing head caused so much suffering that her perambulation was necessarily extinguished before it could come to fulfillment. Kevin gallantly returned Elaine to their chariot, thus sacrificing his own ambition, and forfeiting the possibility of reaching the dizzy heights of the toposcope.

Bereft, we soldiered on, and in time duly achieved our aim, but not without experiencing the depths of despair that our lost companions were not there to celebrate our success with us, as is their want.

And then we had bacon sarnies in the pub.
