Had a lovely meal last and a great nights sleep. Was up at 7 this morning and went for a swim in the hotels very very long swimming pool (see picture). Had breakfast then headed off with Shane to the Millenium Elephant Foundation. I got to ride Pooja - who was the only one of the elephants to have been born there. The ride was a bit scary as when we went down slopes I thought I was going to tumble over the elephants head. Anyway I survived and then went to bathe the elephant. This was great fun, though I think I got wetter than Pooja. Anyhow you can see all in the pictures. Once I had got changed into dry clothes we headed off for lunch where I had a sandwich and a mango juice. I then had a sleep in the car whilst we were heading to Sigiriya. I am staying at Vil Uyuana - a Paddy Room. It's a self contained building on stilts with its own plunge pool. Fab.
